SG Third Spaces (sgthirdspaces.com) · Effective date: 04 October 2026 · Last updated: 12 October 2026

1. Agreement

1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of sgthirdspaces.com and any related pages (the "Site"), operated by Chloe Chua ("we", "us", "our").

1.2 By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1.3 Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal data, including when we share information with authorities. It forms part of these Terms.

1.4 If you create an owner account or list a group, you confirm that you are 18 or over, or that you have the authority to bind the organisation you list.

2. Definitions

3. What the Directory is

3.1 The Directory helps people find community groups and gatherings in Singapore. We are a listing platform, not an organiser, host, venue, insurer or booking service.

3.2 We do not run, supervise or approve the activities of any group. Each group is responsible for its own gatherings and their safety.

3.3 Listing on the Directory does not mean that we endorse, verify or recommend any group, person or activity. Featured Placement does not mean endorsement either.

3.4 We review listings before they are publicly shown. Our review checks that a listing is complete and appears genuine and lawful, based on the information available to us. We do not verify every statement in a listing, carry out criminal or background checks on organisers, or inspect any venue or activity. We may decline, change, hide or remove any listing at any time, with or without a reason.

3.5 Listings show the organiser's information. Organisers are not our employees, agents or partners. "Approved" status means only that a listing passed our review under clause 3.4. It is not an endorsement, guarantee or safety certification.

4. Accounts and sign-in

4.1 Organisers sign in by email link. You must keep your email account secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4.2 You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.

4.3 We may suspend or close any account that breaches these Terms, or that we reasonably believe is being used for fraud or misuse.

4.4 Administrators sign in separately. Unauthorised access to admin areas is prohibited.

5. Listings and content

5.1 Accuracy. You must make sure each listing is accurate, current and not misleading. Update it when details change, including gathering times, locations, fees and contact details. Organisers must also keep the information accurate about who runs the group, where and when gatherings take place, and any fees or conditions for participation.

5.2 Authority. You must have the right to publish the listing and all content in it, including names, logos and images. Do not publish anyone else's personal data without their consent.

5.3 Images. Images must be JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB each, with a maximum of four per listing. Only upload images you own or have permission to use. If people appear in an image, you confirm they have consented to its publication.

5.4 Approval. Approved listings are public. Unapproved listings are not shown in search and are not indexed. Listings may also be shared by link.

5.5 Content standards. You must not publish content that:

5.6 Our rights. We may review, edit, hide or remove any content, and suspend or close accounts, at any time and without notice where we consider a breach has occurred or that the content is harmful, unlawful or inappropriate.

5.7 Your licence to us. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt and promote your listing content on the Site and in related marketing, for as long as the listing is on the Site. You keep ownership of your content.

5.8 Social hub. Listings in the Social hub that offer dating, singles or romantic introductions must be for adults aged 18 and over. Organisers must not use the Site to solicit money, sexual services, or personal details from participants, and must comply with all applicable Singapore law. We may require age checks or additional information before approving these listings.

6. Enquiries and reports

6.1 When you send an enquiry, we pass your name, contact details and message to the group you contacted. The group may contact you about your enquiry.

6.2 Groups are responsible for handling enquiries and personal data they receive. We are not responsible for how a group uses information after it is shared with them, except as set out in our Privacy Notice.

6.3 You must not use enquiries or contact details from the Site to send unsolicited commercial messages, or for any purpose other than contacting the group about the matter in question.

6.4 Report concerns. If you believe a listing, gathering, organiser or participant is unsafe, dishonest, fraudulent or unlawful, report it to us at chloe@sgthirdspaces.com with as much detail as you can. We review reports and may act on them without notice to the organiser, including removing content, suspending accounts or refusing future listings. For any immediate danger, contact the police on 999.

7. Featured Placement and bidding

7.1 Overview. Organisers may bid for one of seven Featured Placement slots, one per hub, each month. Featured listings display a "FEATURED" label. The label does not mean endorsement (see clause 3.3).

7.2 Bidding rules.

7.3 Prices and taxes. All prices are in Singapore dollars.

7.4 Cancellation and errors. We may cancel, suspend or re-run any auction if we find a technical error, fraud, or any other irregularity. If we do, we will refund any amount charged for the affected slot.

7.5 Refunds. Featured Placement fees are non-refundable once the slot period has started, except where we are at fault or the law requires a refund.

7.6 Changes to the bidding model. We may change the bidding rules, minimum increments, starting prices or slot structure by giving at least 20 days' notice on the Site and by email to organisers. Changes do not affect a slot already paid for.

7.7 Payment processing. Payments are handled by Stripe. Your use of that service is subject to its terms.

8. Fees

8.1 Listing on the Directory is free.

8.2 Featured Placement is available as described in section 7.

8.3 We may introduce other paid services in future, which we will describe before you pay for them.

9. Gatherings, organisers and personal safety

9.1 Groups and gatherings listed on the Site are run by independent third parties, not by us. We are not responsible for their conduct, the activities they run, or the venues they use.

9.2 Each organiser is solely responsible for:

9.3 Organisers that run gatherings involving minors, or that involve physical activity, must have appropriate safeguards and insurance in place. We may ask for evidence of this before approving a listing.

9.4 Participants take part at their own risk. Before attending, you should check the group's details, ask questions if unsure, and take sensible precautions, particularly when meeting people for the first time, travelling to or from gatherings, or taking part in physical activities.

9.5 Fees and payments. Any fees for a gathering are paid directly to the organiser, not through the Site. We never ask for deposits, transfers, cryptocurrency or other payments on behalf of an organiser. We are not a party to any payment between an organiser and a participant, and we are not responsible for any loss arising from it. If you are asked to pay outside the Site in a way that concerns you, report it to us under clause 6.4.

9.6 Limits of responsibility. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss, theft, harassment, fraud or other harm arising from a gathering or from an interaction with an organiser or other participant. This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence (clause 14.1).

9.7 Reporting to authorities. If you believe a person is in immediate danger, call 999. For non-emergency crime, call the Singapore Police Force on 1800 255 0000 or use the police online services. We will cooperate with the police and other authorities, and may disclose information about a listing, organiser or account where we believe this is needed to investigate or prevent harm, or where the law requires it.

10. Acceptable use

You must not:

11. Intellectual property

11.1 The Site, its design, logo ("SG Third Spaces" and the associated mark), text, graphics and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by Singapore and international intellectual property laws.

11.2 You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes, and to share links to listings. You may not reproduce or use our logo or branding without our written permission.

11.3 Content you submit remains yours, subject to the licence in clause 5.7.

12. Third-party links and services

The Site links to third-party websites and services, including group websites, Telegram, Instagram, our payment processor and our hosting providers. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Your dealings with third parties are between you and them.

13. Disclaimers

13.1 The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including about accuracy, completeness, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

13.2 We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any listing will generate enquiries, members or income.

14. Limitation of liability

14.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under Singapore law.

14.2 Subject to clause 14.1, and to the extent permitted by law (including the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977), we are not liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data.

14.3 Subject to clauses 14.1 and 14.2, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Site or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and (b) S$100.

15. Indemnity

15.1 To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify us against losses, claims and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your listing, including any claim that your content infringes the rights of a third party.

15A. Organiser indemnity. Each organiser will indemnify us against all losses, claims, damages, fines and reasonable legal costs arising from:

16. Suspension and termination

16.1 You may stop using the Site at any time. Ask us to close your account by emailing chloe@sgthirdspaces.com.

16.2 We may suspend or terminate your access, remove listings, or cancel slots (without refund for the affected period, where the breach is serious) if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect users, the Site or the law.

16.3 Clauses 5.7, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 15A, 17 and 18 survive termination.

17. Changes to the Site and these Terms

17.1 We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

17.2 We may update these Terms by posting the revised version with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will give at least 14 days' notice on the Site and by email to organisers. Continued use of the Site after the effective date of a change means you accept it.

18. Governing law and disputes

18.1 These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or from the Site, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

18.2 Before starting court proceedings, the parties will try in good faith to resolve the dispute by discussion for at least 30 days from written notice of the dispute.

18.3 Subject to clause 18.2, the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.

19. General

19.1 Electronic communications. You agree that we may communicate with you electronically, including by email and on the Site. Electronic records are treated as written records, to the extent permitted by the Electronic Transactions Act 2010.

19.2 Severability. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remains in effect.

19.3 Waiver. Our failure to enforce a right does not waive that right.

19.4 Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Notice are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site, and replace any earlier understanding on the same subject.

19.5 Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer our rights to a successor business.

19.6 Third-party rights. No one other than the parties has any right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001.
